What we collect
Your email address, and your mobile number if you choose to add one and tick the text-message consent box — only when you submit them through the waitlist form. The phone number is optional and the form works without it. If you enter a number without ticking the box, we discard it. When you consent, we also record when you did, the wording you agreed to, the page you were on, and your IP address, so we can show that you opted in. We don't use cookies, and we don't run any analytics or advertising trackers on this site.
What we do with it
We use your email to send you a one-time confirmation, and later, a single email when the first production run opens up. If you consented to texts, we use your number for the Sekoya text messages described below, and for nothing else. We don't sell either one, rent them, or share them for marketing purposes. You can unsubscribe from the bottom of any email, or reply STOP to a text.
Text messages
If you opt in, we'll text you a launch-day alert and occasional reminders, about one message a month. Reply STOP to cancel at any time or HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply. Consent is never a condition of signing up or of buying anything. We do not sell, rent, or share mobile phone numbers or text-message opt-in data and consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Our text-messaging provider handles your number only to deliver our messages for us. Details are in our Terms of Service.
Who processes it
Your email and, if you gave one, your mobile number are stored with Supabase (database hosting). Your email is passed to Resend when we send you mail, and your number to our text-messaging provider when we send you a text. Both are processors acting on our instructions, not independent users of your data. The site itself is hosted on Vercel.
Unsubscribing and deletion
Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link, and you can reply STOP to any text. You can also ask us to delete your email and phone number entirely at any time — hello@sekoyalife.com.
Children
This site isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
Changes to this policy
This is a pre-launch waitlist page — what we collect and how we handle it will expand once there's an actual product to buy. We'll update this page when that happens.
